Manager – New Partnerships

New Zealand Rugby (NZR), one of New Zealand’s largest sporting organisations, is looking for a world class New Partnerships Manager to join our winning team and support us in effectively creating and developing long term, innovative and authentic commercial partnerships.
You will work with the Head of Partnership & Commercial Development to manage New Zealand Rugby’s (NZR) new partnerships programme to identify and secure new sponsorships, both domestic and international.
You will possess sound knowledge and experience in working within a commercial environment with 10 years’ experience in the “sharp end” of sales, marketing and business development, including working with high profile brands and involvement with advertising and promotional activities.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience in commercial rights-holder negotiations, preferably with sports industry experience.
- A strong understanding of sponsorship sales process: including: Prospecting, developing proposals, acquisition and pitching
- Hold a clean, full drivers licence and willing to travel throughout New Zealand and overseas.
New Zealand Rugby has a diverse and inclusive culture and is certified with the Rainbow Tick.
The ideal candidate must obtain a clear Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.
