New Zealand Heartland XV - Team Manager
The New Zealand Heartland XV is a national team selected from players playing their rugby in the twelve Heartland Provincial Unions. The 2018 campaign in the first week of November will offer the opportunity for players and team management to work and play for a national representative team. The campaign will be based in the North Island and candidates will need to be available for approximately 10 days.
New Zealand Rugby are currently recruiting for the following position:
The primary responsibility of the Team Manager will be the effective management and leadership of the team and support staff. The Team Manager will also be required to establish appropriate organisational systems and processes to ensure the optimal performance of the entire team, both on and off the field, as well as leading the team programme. They will manage the operational and logistic requirements of the team, including the medical staff and support the coaches to create a winning environment.
The successful candidate for the above role will ideally be part of the management team of a Mitre 10 Heartland Championship team in 2018.
For this role a strong empathy for the values which underpin rugby in New Zealand will need to be demonstrated, as will high levels of integrity, passion, and a competitive drive.
This role will be on a fixed term contract and paid a per day rate for the number of days assembled.
